And there goes my plans to not be kept out of the garden!! :(
But I did go out and take photo's before it really started to pour :)
The Silverbeet has grown, but something is still eating the leaves, and some plants have died altogether at the back, but I kept a few plants just incase so they will be planted out tomorrow.
Silverbeet under the netting...
Broccoli, Kale, Stocks and some other seedlings going well, will hopefully get to plant them out tomorrow... None of the Long Island Imp Brussel Sprouts germinated, but one of the Ruby ones did, And I think that is all I'd need :)
The Cabbage has grown lots in just one week :)
One of them has a purple stem though???
The Sweet Peas have grown a lot too :)
A Volunteer Bean...
The other new bed with Silverbeet, Carrots and Petunias, the Kale will go in here as well...
The Thai Green Eggplant has waited until the middle of Autumn to flower :/ ...
Beans that will be pulled...
The Strawberry patch that has a Cosmos in it....
Which is budding :)
More Beans to be pulled, these are in mostly shade and have been eaten badly by snails...
I think the pumpkin is sick?? Not nearly enough sunlight and too late in the season :(...
The first planting of Sweet Peas, "Hi Scent" are going well...
The flower bed by the side of the house.....
The Poppy's have grown the most, There 10 times the size they were before :)
The stocks are very happy :)
The other flower bed is very happy too...
Especially the Foxglove!!
Freesias in pots...
Gardenia...
Catnip has take over the Rose plant, but it still seems happy enough....
The front fence, where last year Sweet Peas were planted, It's had a year to rest, so it's time to pull the weeds and plant some vegetables!
Jonquilles emerging....
More Mushrooms :)
The room they're in is still quite bright, so a sheet is placed over them...
You can just see the mushrooms...
The bulbs on the windowsill are sprouting :) In this one, from top to bottom are Jonquills, Freesias- Purple Rain, Ancona, Pink Attraction, Honeymoon and Gabrielle.
Top to Bottom 1 Hyacinth, Babiana and Jonquills. The scent thought the window in spring will be magnifi(s)cent! :)
Happy Gardening :)
