Starting Seedlings...

I decided to plant my spring seeds because of the warm weather, only to find that this week has been cold and windy :/ lol!

The Cherry Tomatoes have grown and I have now given some away...

The peas are now producing despite having fallen over quite a lot....

Speaking of falling over lol!

Snapdragon buds :)

All of the types of seeds I planted out...

A Casey plant lol! :)

Finished planting....

A flower from the garden bed under my window, I don't know what it is though??...

Cabbage buds are growing between the leaf and stems of cut off cabbages... I have never seen that before....

Very happy Stocks :)

The Snow Peas...

They have fallen over so much in the wind that they are extremely intertwined, harvesting will be tricky :/

A very Yummy Harvest :)

An Early Spring!!!

Spring has appeared early this year, I've been so busy observing in the garden, but I really should have made time to blog because I just uploaded some of the photos I've taken of the garden this past month and there were 74!!! I tried to condense them again, not sure how I went with that but be prepared for lots of photos lol!

The tomatoes that self seeded were planted out into the old raised bed...

I made a new flower bed a few weeks ago...

It has Alyssum, Stocks, Larkspurs- dwarf, Statice And Poppies...

This is the bed now, the poppies have grown so much and so fast!

The Broccoli is going crazy, I have been giving it to everyone :)

The pot plant garden is going well too..

This is it now...

Strawberries....

Pansy bed....

The Broccoli is SO tall!! The one on the left has now started to lean out of the garden all together! As you can tell I have harvested a few cabbages...They are still quite small but I think they need to be harvested, the water gets trapped in the leaves and it is starting to rot some of them... Next year I will put the Cabbages in the front of the bed and the Broccoli in the back as the Cabbages are in the shadows of the Broccoli all day now that they have become giants!

New plantings of lettuce and silverbeet....

Casey next to the pots of Hyacinths before they started to bloom....

Then they all bloomed!! And I had a cold and couldn't smell them at all! :( lol! But I got to after I recovered, there were Sweet Peas and Freesias to smell then too :)

It was fascinating to watch all of the bees, there were about 5 bees buzzing around the Hyacinths at all times, They would get all the way into the flower so much that i thought they would hurt their wings getting back out again, but they didn't...

Some Harvests.....

The Flower Gardens....

The Vegetable Gardens....

Peas...

Lots of Peas, I was eating them fresh out of the pods today, they are so sweet :)

The Stocks are struggling with the giant broccoli for room but they are still happy enough :) I have been enjoying bringing bouquets inside :)

Sweet Peas :)

Casey having a nap, All this busy spring weather must have made her tired... That and her usual spot in the garden is now too loud because of the buzzing bees.....

Pansy bed again....

Broad Beans are really flowering now, but still no pods...

My First Double flowering Stock!!! So Pretty and smells so good!! :D

Freesias.....

Blue Hyacinths...

The first of the spring blossoms :)

More harvests and a bouquet from the garden I gave to a friend :)
