The Board Beans are flowering....
And the Cabbages growing...
As are the plants in the potted garden...
This is the view my friend Robyn wakes up to every morning at Coopernook. I went there to help out with her garden this past weekend. It is a 3 hour drive, so quite an exhausting weekend, but we got a lot done and it was great to catch up :)
Broad Beans and Pak Choy...
Some Calves....
This bed we planted Red Cabbage and Broccoli...
This bed had a bit of everything, We used the bottles to help protect from the frost that was forecast for that evening, then the next day used some to make bottle towers and planted lettuce in them...
Right outside on the verandah....
Now back at home.....
My lettuce tower is very happy...
Hyacinth bulbs are just emerging...
Ranunculus and Freesias too...
Peas...
Snow Peas, I keep looking for flowers but no luck yet....
Strawberries...
The Garden beds...
Broccoli!!!
The stocks at the very front of the Cabbage bed are ready to flower, they all have buds on them...
YAY!!! I can't wait to smell them! :D
A Broccoli that I picked and gave to some friends with some Carrots and a Cabbage, I love sharing things from the garden :D
The Purple Dragon Carrots are pushing the soil upwards with how much they are growing :)
This is my first year growing Sprouting Broccoli and I was shocked to see that they develop side shoots at the same time as the main head...
Mulched the strawberries...
And Pansies...
Happy Broad Beans...
The Flower beds... The Foxglove has taken over pretty much everything, they are very happy...
More Freesias and Hyacinths...
A White one is starting to bloom...
Lettuce in the Kale bed, you can't really see it in the other photos because it's in between the Silverbeet and the Kale...
Love cold weather cooking!!! So Yummy!
Happy Gardening :)
